24 of 210 : Miss Miller

A classic spinster, to our young eyes she seemed ancient and withered. She ate bananas with knife and fork because the normal way was too suggestive, and at the museum she shielded us from the shame of Michelangelo’s David by placing her hand where a fig leaf should have gone.

They should film you and sell the footage on the Internet. It would outsell the Pam Anderson, Colin Farrell, and Paris Hilton tapes combined!

How young were your eyes?

We were in second grade, so I was probably 7 years old. Funny thing, none of us would have noticed anything, but her covering his crotch made our curiosity burn. Her prudishness gave birth to our prurience!

I love this post. Of course, eating a banana with a knife and fork has other implications. I wonder if Loreena Bobbitt was in Miss Miller's class.

Miss Miller has a doppelganger: my infamous Aunt Violet.
