144 of 210 : Cokie

My first dog (and yes, dogs count) was black, like Coca-Cola. One day my mother heard Cokie yelping his head off as I dragged him down the lawn by his tail. Moments later it was I who was yelping, as he dragged me back up the lawn by my diaper.

(Not Cokie, but darned close.)

Sheba sounds absolutely lovely, too. The next few posts will all be about the fur-people I have known and loved. (I even have a baseball cap advertising the only all-woman kennel ever to run the Iditarod; their motto: "Don't trust anyone who doesn't have dog hair on their clothes!")

By the way, the Word Verification word so sign in with this post is "araurf." That's a bark if I've ever heard one!

Oh yes - dogs do count. I have a whole section to post of "people who have peed on my carpet". It's made up almost entirely of dogs.

MM: Oh dear. I'm not entirely sure I want to meet any of those particular non-dog people....

SY: Love the diaper image. Guess that kept YOU from peeing on the carpet.

MM: I'm particularly looking forward to those who are not "almost entirely."
